Founded in 2013 by JMU faculty and Alice Sayo, Nasaruni CBO is dedicated to empowering Maasai girls in Narok, Kenya through access to quality education.

In the heart of Narok, Kenya, Nasaruni Community Based Organization stands as a beacon of hope for Maasai girls seeking education and empowerment.
Through our comprehensive programs at Nasaruni Academy (Primary and High School), we provide not just education, but also meals, dormitories, and a nurturing environment where girls can thrive.
Our work extends beyond individual transformation—we’re strengthening entire communities by empowering the next generation of women leaders.
